Two Yemini Men Arrested On Flight From Chicago To Amsterdam in Mock Bomb Plot

Reporting from Washington – Two Yemeni men arriving in Amsterdam on a flight from Chicago were arrested Monday on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack after peculiar items turned up in their luggage, Dutch officials said.

U.S. authorities asked the Dutch to make the arrests after discovering that one of the men had checked his luggage from Chicago to Dulles International Airport in Virginia, then taken a flight to Amsterdam, said a Dutch official, who asked not to be identified because of the sensitive nature of the case.

The luggage sent to Virginia on Sunday night contained a cellphone taped to a bottle of Pepto-Bismol, three cellphones taped together and several watches taped together, Dutch and U.S. officials said.

The owner of the luggage, Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi, a Yemeni citizen who lives in Detroit, also was carrying $7,000 in cash, said the Dutch official.

They all passionately believed the argument that the United States is mistreating Muslims. They felt this so strongly that they were willing to kill dozens if not hundreds of innocent people in order to communicate the “death as text” argument authored by their overlords in groups such as al-Qaeda.

Libertarians’ Leftist Love Affair with Islam

Libertarians are having a leftist-style love affair with Islam.  They defend Islam while trashing America as the violent oppressor of Muslims, the Middle East, and freedom.  And they side with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf against the Ground Zero mosque protesters, saying America caused 9/11 and “the Imam is right” in his claims that “America has more blood on its hands than al Qaeda.”

The radical libertarians at Daily Paul, a site dedicated to Ron Paul, the GOP’s Howard Dean, are the worst. They insist Americans protesting the Ground Zero mosque, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, and sharia law refuse to believe America has committed what the UN reports as 170 9/11s against Muslim countries, because Americans love war.For example, libertarian columnist Jack Hunter, aka the Southern Avenger, has a Youtube video up at Daily Paul agreeing with Rauf’s remarks that “the United States has killed more innocent Muslims than al Qaeda has killed Americans.” Hunter declares:

Anyone who has had access to any form of media over the last few weeks is aware that Iranian and Russian technicians have begun loading uranium fuel rods into the nuclear reactor at Bushehr, a port city in the northern Persian Gulf.

While much has been made of this reactor and possible ties to a suspected (and fairly well accepted) Iranian nuclear weapons program, the Bushehr reactor is under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards.

Theoretically, the fuel for the Bushehr reactor will be supplied by the Russians, and spent uranium fuel rods will be returned to Russia for disposal or further processing – but will not be available to the Iranians. There are IAEA inspectors at the plant to make sure this happens. It is important that the inspectors do their jobs – the reactor will produce as a byproduct of its operations a fissile isotope of plutonium, plutonium-239 (P-239).

A female commander of the pro-government Basij militia, Zohreh Abbasi, has said that her unit has introduced a special program that allows baby girls to be registered as members of the force and receive training.

Abbasi, who heads the Hossein Haj Mousaee unit, said that in the past six years 23 baby girls had been trained as Basij members through “Koranic, cultural, educational, and military” classes.

OK–it’s time to just come out and say it. So-called  liberals must be desperate, because–with regard to the Ground Zero mosque (as with so many other past cultural issues)–Barack Obama has sided against the American people–again. How do I know this to be true? Well, let’s just look at the steady stream of hysterical op-eds coming out of The New York Times slandering the American people as racist, Islamaphobic, unpatriotic dumb-dumbs. (Yes, I know, so-called liberals must be pretty desperate to play the patriotism card–I thought they thought that patriotism was gauche.)

For instance, last weekend, TV entertainer, Dick Cavett, wrote a column titled, Real Americans, Please Stand Up. (Did you get that? If you disagree with him about the Ground Zero mosque, you aren’t a “real American”.) In this op-ed, Cavett goes on to lament how “ashamed of us” he is, and he even goes so far as to write the following insanity–

Human Rights Watch has called on a Saudi court to reverse a decision to drop charges against a couple who severely beat their Indonesian maid.

The judge awarded a mere $670 compensation to Nour Miyati, who was tied up by her employers and left in a cellar for a month in 2005. The 25 year old woman was left without food and contracted gangrene as result of her ordeal.

The woman who employed her was initially sentenced to 35 lashes, but later had her sentence overturned. Her male employer was not charged with any crime.

According to Human Rights Watch, the ruling “sends a dangerous message to Saudi employers that they can beat domestic workers with impunity and that victims have little hope of justice.”

This comes on the heels of word that an Indonesian servant was tortured by another Saudi couple.

Italy has denied religious status to Islam. Politicians cited extremist (fundamentalist) imams, polygamy and failure to uphold women’s rights by Muslim immigrants as obstacles to recognizing Islam as an official religion in Italy.And here in the US we are paying for extremist imams (like Rauf) and their wives to go on Middle Eastern junkets to raise money for Islamic supremacist Ground Zero mosques.
