A U.S. official has told CNN that security concerns have risen since the recent publication of an al-Qaida magazine outlining the construction of new explosives. Despite this, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) declares that there are no specific terror threats targeting holiday weekend travelers.

The latest issue of Inspire, al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula’s (AQAP) English language magazine and guide for aspiring terrorists contains an article, “Technical Details,” in which AQAP explosives expert Ikrimah al-Muhajir outlines the construction of a relatively new type of bomb constructed from PETN.

Much attention is being paid to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s airport security organization, the Transportation Security Administration. It needs to be under tough scrutiny. It is another bloated, ineffective federal bureaucracy inside a larger bloated, ineffective and unnecessary federal department.

No one can point to any successful TSA operations to secure civil aviation in the United States. You might think that such a violent command could lead Muslims to attack non-Muslims. There’s no need to worry, however. The TSA is strip searching non-Muslim children, so we’re all safe.

The attorney for Abdel Hameed Shehadeh, 21, formerly of Annadale and Prince’s Bay, revealed the plea negotiations today during an appearance in Brooklyn federal court, the New York Daily News is reporting.

I have had enough. Barack Obama should be impeached and removed from office.

He appointed the most inept and ignorant Attorney General in the history of this country. Both Holder and Obama have nothing but contempt for the Constitution.

Barack Obama appointed the single most stupid person in the United States to be head of Homeland Security. Obama is determined to punish the citizens of the United States in order to preserve the rights of Muslim suicide bombers. He is determined to humiliate all of us in order to protect them.

UPDATE: I’m getting a lot of emails asking if this is actually true and is this person actually someone I know.  Yes it is true — it is too absurd to be made up. (2) Yes, I know the person.

A friend of mine sent me this about his TSA experience. He, unlike most of us, was coming back into the country from Afghanistan on a military charter.

As the Chalk Leader for my flight home from Afghanistan, I witnessed the following:

When we were on our way back from Afghanistan, we flew out of Baghram Air Field. We went through customs at BAF, full body scanners (no groping), had all of our bags searched, the whole nine yards.

Our first stop was Shannon, Ireland to refuel. After that, we had to stop at Indianapolis, Indiana to drop off about 100 folks from the Indiana National Guard. That’s where the stupid started.

This is a very interesting story about an amazing man, Mano Bakh, my friend and mentor.  I met him at a meeting of (ACT) where he discussed Islam, and crushed the notion that “extremists” have hijacked Islam.

Better stated, Islam has hijacked Muslims around the world.  The barbaric treatment mostly of women and young girls defies the imagination of the western civilized mind.  On hearing him speak, it was like a fire was lit in my heart, I knew I must become involved.

We are working together with draft legislation that will separate the horrors of Sharia, and its crimes against humanity so judges will have a single code to use rather than the confusion that results from organizations like CAIR that try to get Sharia Law into our courts, thus throwing out cases thinking that it’s and issue involving church and state.  To see the legislation go here.

We have been working with members in congress who have advised us that nothing will be done during this session of congress until Obama is out of office as he would veto the legislation.

They are clearly aware of the threat and have action plans in place when the timing is right.

They have provided leads at the state level in CA.  We are working with them now to have California, an ultra-liberal state, add this type of legislation.

Mano Bakh has personal reasons for opposing a mosque planned in Temecula.

The 73-year-old from Murrieta said he barely escaped with his life when revolutionaries toppled Iran’s monarchy in 1979 and established an Islamic republic.

His self-published book, “Escaping Islam,” describes being arrested and interrogated. Now he fears his new home is treading down Iran’s path.

What will you do if Muslim women are allowed to board a plane without being scanned or groped?

It happened in Canada last summer. If Muslim women are exempted from the new security requirements (as requested by CAIR), I say we all dress in Muslim garb whenever we go to the airport. Even men.

Military officers say, “Forcing troops to carry unloaded weapons on patrol is criminally negligent.” “Patrolling without a chambered round is suicide.”

First they want to give medals for “courageous restraint.” Now they want to tie both hands behinds our soldiers’ backs. This isn’t suicide, it’s negligent homicide, in my book.

(Human Events)- Commanders have ordered a U.S. military unit in Afghanistan to patrol with unloaded weapons, according to a source in Afghanistan. American soldiers in at least one unit have been ordered to conduct patrols without a round chambered in their weapons, an anonymous source stationed at a forward operating base in Afghanistan said in an interview.

When a weapon has a loaded magazine, but the safety is on and no round is chambered, the military refers to this condition as “amber status.” Weapons on “red status” are ready to fire—they have a round in the chamber and the safety is off.

Let’s assume Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs,  knows his way around a battleship. However, he clearly doesn’t know his way through the Koran. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have made such a fool of himself this past weekend at the Hoover Institution where he pressed literacy as a “new” deterrent to jihad because the potential “extremist” will then “understand the Koran for what it is and not merely what his mullah tells him it is.”

No record of anyone present crying out, “For God’s sake, man, have you a brain?” or harrumphing noticeably.

The Congressional Research Service issued a memo to prepare members of Congress to rebut and defuse questions constituents were asking regarding Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility under the “natural born citizen” requirement of the Constitution.

CRS staff member Jerry W. Mansfield, an information research specialist in the Knowledge Services Group, confirmed to WND that he authored the June 5, 2009, CRS memo entitled “Qualifications of Barack Obama to Be President of the United States.”

WND has posted the CRS memo on Scribd.com for download.

Attached to the memo was an attack piece published by FactCheck.org to dismiss claims that Obama’s short-form Certification of Live Birth, or COLB, originally published during the 2008 presidential campaign by DailyKos.com, was a forgery.

Taliban mount series of attacks in Afghanistan

JALALABAD, Afghanistan (Reuters) – Taliban fighters attacked a foreign military base at the main airport in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, one of four incidents in 24 hours that marked a sudden upswing in violence.

Militants mounted attacks in Jalalabad and Kunar in the east and in Kunduz in the north, after an attack in the capital Kabul on Friday, apparently demonstrating their continuing strength despite NATO-led forces stating that they have made gains.

NEW YORK CITY (November 9, 2010) This past September, the Center for Security Policy issued an abbreviated report titled Shariah – The Threat to America, An Exercise in Competitive Analysis, Report of Team B II. In a press conference today, CSP is releasing the full, unexpurgated study, and will have four of the authors on hand to discuss it. A great summary of both versions can be read here.

The “Team B” name was coined for a 1976 critique of U.S. détente policy toward the Soviet Union. A group of highly-regarded analysts, “Team B,” found the assumptions of “Team A,” the détente crowd, to be fatally flawed—i.e. that the Soviets could be placated by accommodative policies—and that by naïvely misreading the enemy, détente was actually exposing the U.S. to lethal danger. This later became the foundation for the Reagan Doctrine.

The Team B II report continues this tradition, this time evaluating U.S. policy toward radical Muslims living within the U.S. The 372 page document addresses in detail a largely unrecognized but deadly Islamist infiltration, its methodologies, its goals, its frightening successes and what must be done to stem this tide.
