Obama’s continued failure to lead makes the US and the world unsafe

by Jim Campbell

On last night’s Factor, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly discussed President Barack Obama’s speech on the current turmoil in Libya, calling it “beyond wimpy.”

Once again President Obama has failed to act decisively in a manner concerning not just the US, but also the entire world.

Qaddafi is the poster boy for terrorism. He is responsible for perhaps the loss of more lives than any terrorist in history prior to the devastating attack on the twin towers.  Information has just surfaced that Gaddafi ordered the Pan-Am Lockerbie bombing.

The Telegraph has reported that Gaddafi has ordered snipers to massacre at least 140 protestors some mourning their fallen family and friends at the cemetery.

Women and children have leapt from bridges to their death as they tried to escape this ruthless crackdown by Gaddafi’s Libyan forces, at the moment still loyal to this murdering dictator.

Apparently not satisfied with the results of gunfire, this madman ordered his air force to bomb his own cities on February 21st.

The LA Times reported on the same day that two Libyan Air Force Colonels defected to Malta rather than bomb protestors.

As usual incapable of making a decision, Obama finally spoke out warning Gaddafi to end the violence as reported by Hayley Peterson of the Examiner on February 23rd.

“President Obama warned Libya to halt attacks on political protesters Wednesday evening, ending a period of White House silence that had begun to draw criticism.”

Congressman Allen West gives the Executive Director of CAIR a history lesson on Islam (this is classic)

At a townhall meeting hosted by Congressman Allen West on Monday evening in Pompano Beach, the Q&A segment of the meeting featured a Koran wielding Nezar Hamze, Executive Director of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Hamze confronted Congressman West and asked him to point out where in the Koran does it give marching orders to Muslims “to carry out attacks against Americans and innocent people”. West quickly pointed out that the Koran was written long before America even existed and that it does indeed tell believers to kill infidels, and then proceeded to chronicle a lengthy list of historical Muslim acts of aggression. Congressman West closed his retort by referencing the Fort Hood shootings and 9-11 attacks, saying that his first hand experiences on the battlefield has given him insight into the tactics that Islamists use before telling Hamze not to “try to blow sunshine up my butt” with his criticism of him. West took offense to Hamze’s amateurish criticism of his stance on radical Islam and concluded by telling Mr. Hamze to “put the microphone down and go home.”

“Egypt’s New Hitler,” Sheik Qaradawi, Returns to Egypt for Friday Prayers

Pamela Geller

AtlasShrugs

Confirming what I have been saying for weeks ………. Qaradawi, the vile America hater and virulent Jew-hater. Back in June of 2009, I warned Atlas readers of Obama’s “outreach” to the Muslim Brotherhood when he invited the outlawed party to his speech in Cairo here.

Article in Arabic: Headline: First Friday sermon without Mubarak’s rule (hat tip Rut)

Qaradawi will return to Egypt with the military to being an Imam & delivering sermon after 31 year of denial

Remember that this is the annihilationist whom the Ground Zero mosqueteer Imam Rauf lauded and admired. Listen here, in his own words.

Qaradawi.jpg
The title of my new piece at FrontPage this evening is a bit hyperbolic, since Qaradawi is not even a politician and doesn’t live in Egypt, and is not going to rule there. But Jew-hating and genocidally minded? That he is.

Bangladesh: 503 Women Publicly Flogged

Women Against Shariah
From NDTV

“Fatwa should be made punishable as it goes against the existing law of our country,” he was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.

Largest selling Bengali language daily Prothom Alo arranged the roundtable following last month’s death of a teenage girl from Shariatpur near here, who was raped by a neighbour and then whipped a 100 times after a fatwa was issued.

She could not take more than about 80 lashes and fell unconscious, eyewitnesses told media. She died a day later in hospital.

The case caused a national outcry after it was found that the police and the hospital colluded with the family of the alleged rapist to deny that there was any wrongdoing.

US clueless about Egypt?

For the United States to be literally clueless about the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood is indicative that the 111th Pelosi led Congress failed to do their job.

What can be the possible task of agencies like the CIA and the FBI to come up with nothing.  Oh I get it, full body groping by the TSA is far more important.  If this story is true as stated, it would seem a number of people could be impeached for failing to uphod the Constitution and protect America.  Yes any public official can be impeached not just a sitting “resident”

Senate hearing turns into farce as American ignorance on Egypt situation revealed; specific agenda of Muslim Brotherhood unclear, top official says, has trouble responding to question on group’s attitude to peace with Israel

Yitzhak Benhorin

YnetNews

WASHINTON – A senate hearing Wednesday revealed that top US intelligence agencies are largely ignorant about the current situation in Egypt and unfamiliar with the agenda of the country’s radical Islamists.

“It’s hard to at this point to point to a specific agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood as a group,” National Intelligence Director James Clapper told senators. When asked about the group’s attitude to Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel, he said this was a difficult question before assessing “they are not in favor of the treaty.”

However, he then noted that the Muslim Brotherhood was “only one voice in the emerging political milieu,” adding that the group is “a large, heterogeneous global organization whose agenda and impact differ from country to country.”

In sharp reversal, U.S. agrees to rebuke Israel in Security Council

Leave it to the gutless current President of the United States to sell Israel out for some perceived political gain.  Are we ready for this fool to find another job yet?  Obama is a complete embarrassment not only to the U.S. but the entire world. He is unfit for command.

Colum Lynch

Foreign Policy Magazine

The U.S. informed Arab governments Friday that it will support a U.N. Security Council statement reaffirming that the 15-nation body “does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity,” a move aimed at avoiding the prospect of having to veto a stronger Palestinian resolution calling the settlements illegal.

But the Palestinian’s rejected the American offer following a meeting late Wednesdy of Arab representativs and said it is planning to press for a vote on its resolution Friday, according officials familar with the issue.  The decision to reject the American offer raised the prospects that the Obama adminstration may cast its first ever veto in the U.N. Security Council.

Oh Oh I may be losing it: Carter’s take on the Muslim Brotherhood

Perhaps I’m just a bit hung over but the biggest failure to date as a U.S. President seems to be making a little bit of sense.

It seems Ole smiling Jimmy forgets that the youth movement was clambering for change from the Evil Shah’s regime in Iran .  It fit perfectly with his clueless  human rights agenda.

Well, the Shah left the Aytollah returned, those Carter so worried about were immediately executed along with 3,000 military officers all in the first one hundred days. Over one hundred thousand Muslims in Iran have been killed since thank you Jimmy Carter brought his feel good and warm and fuzzy agenda to the area.

Jimmy Carter is a recidivist offender of the Logan Act.  Without authorization from the State Department, he continually tries to insert his ineptness into situations in the Middle East.  This time, don’t allow him to return through customs ,

Boots on the ground tell a completely different story and the Muslim Brotherhood a patient lot will have more money and resources than they can possibly use to effect the ultimate goal of subjugation of Egypt to the law of Sharia.

What say you Dr. Gary?

CAIR’s Self-Serving Third Jihad Complaint

IPT News
The Investigative Report

The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ protest that the documentary The Third Jihad smears Muslims reveals more about CAIR’s desire to hide its record than any concern for the civil rights of Muslim Americans.

Unfortunately, however, that was enough for the New York Police Department to cave in to CAIR’s demands and stop using the film in training programs for police officers. Now, New York’s finest will have to look harder for evidence that the group claiming to look out for civil rights is actually working to stymie law enforcement efforts to stop terrorism.

Narrated by M. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim who challenges groups such as CAIR, The Third Jihad details how CAIR was created shortly after a secret 1993 meeting in Philadelphia involving members of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. Their goal was to lead opposition to the 1993 Oslo accords and generate support for Hamas, the terrorist organization that now runs the government in Gaza.

Records of that October 1993 conference, which was tapped by federal law enforcement officials, detail how CAIR’s founders Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad were present as the group discussed the need to create a pro-Hamas advocacy group that would not be tied publicly to Hamas.

TEXAS school district will ‘FORCE’ students to study Arabic language and culture

H/T BareNakedIslam

MANDATORY ISLAM: That’s what happens when you get federal grant money from the Obama Regime.

DFW CBS – Some Students at Mansfield ISD schools could soon be learning Arabic as a required language.  The school district wants students at select schools to take Arabic language and culture classes as part of a federally funded grant. And not just language and culture, the grant also funds the teaching of  Islamic (Sharia) government, art, traditions and history as part of the curriculum.

Parents had concerns over religion.  “The school doesn’t teach Christianity, so I don’t want them teaching Islam,” said parent Baron Kane.

The Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) grant was awarded to Mansfield ISD last summer by the U.S. Department of Education. As part of the five-year $1.3 million grant, Arabic classes would be mandatory at Cross Timbers Intermediate School and Kenneth Davis Elementary School.  The program would also be optional for students at T. A. Howard Middle School and Summit High School.

Parents at Cross Timbers say they were caught off-guard by the program, and were surprised the district only told them about it in a meeting Monday night between parents and Mansfield ISD Superintendent Bob Morrison.

Jury finds New York TV executive guilty of murder for wife’s beheading

By the CNN Wire Staff

(CNN) — After a three-week trial and one hour of deliberations, an upstate New York jury on Monday found Muzzammil “Mo” Hassan guilty of second-degree murder for beheading his wife.

In February 2009, Hassan, who founded a TV network aimed at countering Muslim stereotypes, went to a police station in the Buffalo, New York, suburb of Orchard Park and told officers his wife was dead, police have said.

Aasiya Hassan, left, was decapitated by her husband, according to prosecutors. A jury agreed Monday.

Aasiya Hassan had been decapitated, with prosecutor Paul Bonanno saying during opening arguments that the long knife used by her husband had left marks on his office’s tile floor.

Hassan gave his own closing arguments Monday. Earlier in the trial, he had dismissed his attorney, Jeremy Schwartz, who by trial’s end was acting as his legal adviser.

Outrage at boy’s arrest for blasphemy in exam

By Omar Waraich in Islamabad

  • The Independent

Campaigners yesterday demanded the release of a schoolboy who was arrested and imprisoned for writing alleged blasphemous remarks about the Prophet Muhammad on an exam paper. Under the country’s draconian laws, he could face the death penalty.

A magistrate ordered Muhammad Samiullah, 17, to be held at a juvenile detention centre in Karachi after the chief controller of the pupil’s school exam board filed a complaint to police.

Mr Samiullah’s arrest comes as hardliners demonstrated in support of the blasphemy laws, taking to the streets and threatening anyone who seeks to have them even amended. Human rights groups denounce the laws as discriminatory, helping the persecution of religious minorities and often used as a tool of social and political coercion.

Darfur security so bad UN-African Union mission cannot be effective

UN News

21 October 2008 – The security conditions in Darfur remain so poor that the joint United Nations-African Union peacekeeping operation cannot operate effectively, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says in his latest report on the mission, urging the parties to the conflict in western Sudan to stop fighting immediately and start working towards a peaceful settlement.

The Sudanese Government and the region’s many rebel movements “continue to pursue a military solution to the conflict” and they have made little progress in implementing the 2006 peace accord that was supposed to either end or reduce the fighting, Mr. Ban writes.

The mission itself – known as UNAMID – is increasingly the target of armed attacks and banditry, obstructing its ability to deploy rapidly and to fulfil its mandate to protect civilians and help implement the peace agreement.

“Reinforcements are slowly arriving, but the security situation and difficult environment in Darfur have delayed the arrival of equipment for incoming contingents,” the Secretary-General states, noting that it is more than a year since the operation was authorized by the Security Council.

Stratfor Geopolitical Reports on current situation in Egypt

GEORGE FRIEDMAN ON EGYPT

Media, particularly television, portray the Egyptian uprising as crowd-led, but it’s the country’s military that is now pressing for change, sooner rather than later. STRATFOR founder George Friedman discusses the prospects with Colin Chapman.

Editor’s Note: Transcripts are generated using speech-recognition technology. Therefore, STRATFOR cannot guarantee their complete accuracy.

Colin: It’s the crowds in Cairo’s Tahrir Square that have captured the world’s television screens, but the force now pushing President Hosni Mubarak out is his own lieutenants — the military. Welcome to Agenda with George Friedman. George, once the crowds had billed Friday as the “Day of Departure,” it was inevitable that he wouldn’t go then. What’s your latest assessment?
