Last week, I asked Atlas readers to report a FACEBOOK page calling for another Islamic war against the Jews, a “Palestinian” Third Intifada. Knowing what we know about the malevolent use of social networking by the global jihadists (witness the “revolutions” across the Muslim world), starting a war against the Jews would be relatively easy in a population taught, urged, incited, and commanded to annihilate the Jewish people.

Despute the urging to report this page by my blog and many others, Facebook did not take the page down. Nice move, Zuckerberg. Striking, really, when you consider how much counter jihad content they censor. The situation is so incendiary and dangerous, the Israeli government has called upon Mark Zuckerberg to take the page down. Yet another Jewicidal numbnut.

Explosive Sharia ruling sparks more debate about Muslim law case to be tried in Florida

Still Completely Clueless about Sharia

Now, in a ruling that even he thinks needs some explaining, Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen has given them an example. Nielsen decided to allow Islamic law to prevail in a civil dispute over a mosque between Muslims.

“This case,” the judge wrote, “will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic Law.”

Technically, say legal experts, that’s ok if the parties agreed ahead of time to arbitrate under Islamic law (or any other set of agreed-upon codes) — as long as the law or codes used for arbitration don’t conflict with state or federal statutes or the constitution of Florida or the United States.

But the defendants say Nielsen’s ruling is just that — a violation of the First Amendment protection against official state sanction of religion. They’ve appealed.

Regardless of the particulars of the case, the blogosphere and anti-Sharia advocates say this proves that the Metz/Hays bill is a must. Nielsen has tried to clarify his comments by issuing a rare opinion Tuesday. But it probably is too late for that. It’s politically tough to argue that Sharia isn’t working its way into the court system when a judge happens to recognize and virtually condone Sharia.

Maybe the ruling is ok in the court of law. But in the court of public opinion that dominates the Legislature, this is the type of case that can help turn a bill into a law.

The 21^st of March was the first day of spring in the Northern hemisphere and the New Year for Iranians.  In this year a group of Iranian intellectuals, writers, thinkers, poets, artists and academicians issued a declaration asking the people of Iran to leave Islam.

They blame Islam for the downfall of their country.  They believe Islam is violent and abusive and incompatible with the peace loving nature of Iranians.

Today Islam is the biggest abuser of human rights.  The Islamic regime of Iran kills more Iranians per capita than any other regime killing their citizens. This has not always been the case. The first declaration of human rights was issued in Iran by King Cyrus 2500 years ago.

The following is the text of the declaration. It is a message to all the Iranians and all the Muslims.

Proclamation to Abandon Islam

We, the people of Iran and the world, regardless of our origins and beliefs, have come to the realization that it is not possible for a person to be a Muslim and live by the standards of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We hold Islam in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, by invading other lands, enslaving people, destroying their heritage and their way of life. We find Islam guilty of pursuing a multi-front attack, even to this day, on much of what is sacred to all civilized people. We consider Islam responsible for 1400 years of atrocities committed against the Iranian people and much of the Islamic world. We believe that Islam is the root of our problem therefore it must be abandoned.

Islam is not hijacked by the terrorists.  The terrorists are the true Muslims.  Muhammad bragged “I have been made victorious with terror” [Bukhari: 4.52.220]. He raided massacred, looted and raped innocent people.  Islam promotes hate, violence, misogyny, discrimination, intolerance, child abuse and murder.

For the love of humanity, for the peace of the world and for the future of our children, we denounce Islam. We urge Muslims to leave this faith of hate and join the rest of mankind in amity.  We are one people; let not prophets of hate like Hitler, Marx and Muhammad divide us with their big lies.  We invite you to sign this petition and promote it.  Peace cannot be attained unless hate is eliminated. Islam, like all ideologies of hate is the biggest impediment to peace.

Gov. Christie’s Strange Relationship with Radical Islam

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s nomination of Sohail Mohammed to be a state judge shows the governor’s tin ear for radical Islam. Not only did he appoint a longtime mouthpiece for radical Islamists to be a judge, but Christie has also turned a blind eye to the activities of one of Mohammed’s clients – radical imam Mohammed Qatanani, head of one of New Jersey’s largest mosques.

Qatanani has a history of Hamas support and was related by marriage to a leading Hamas operative in the West Bank. This fall, Qatanani will return to a New Jersey immigration court, where the Department of Homeland Security is fighting to have him deported. In his initial application for a green card filed in 1999, government lawyers say Qatanani failed to disclose a conviction in an Israeli military court for being a Hamas member and providing support to the terrorist group.

Oddly, Christie – a Republican who was then the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey – sided with Qatanani against DHS, allowing a top lieutenant, Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McKenna, to testify as a character witness at Qatanani’s first immigration trial, and publicly embracing the imam at a Ramadan breakfast at his mosque. Christie later appointed McKenna as New Jersey’s head of homeland security..

Saudi Arabia has not yet responded to a request from the US to supply weapons to rebels in Libya. Desperate to avoid US military involvement in Libya in the event of a prolonged struggle between the Gaddafi regime and its opponents, the Americans have asked Saudi Arabia if it can supply weapons to the rebels in Benghazi. The Saudi Kingdom, already facing a “day of rage” from its 10 per cent Shia Muslim community on Friday, with a ban on all demonstrations, has so far failed to respond to Washington’s highly classified request, although King Abdullah personally loathes the Libyan leader, who tried to assassinate him just over a year ago.

Washington’s request is in line with other US military co-operation with the Saudis. The royal family in Jeddah, which was deeply involved in the Contra scandal during the Reagan administration, gave immediate support to American efforts to arm guerrillas fighting the Soviet army in Afghanistan in 1980 and later – to America’s chagrin – also funded and armed the Taliban.

This was out of fear that Mubarak would come for them, and well he should have considering the Brotherhood has tried to assassinate him in the past. The moment Obama turned on Mubarak, the Muslim Brotherhood officially joined the protests and began organizing the opposition.

Meanwhile, Leftist groups in the U.S., which are allied with Obama, were already angling to help the Muslim Brotherhood in its quest for at least a share of the power in Egypt. In the days before Mubarak stepped down, the White House and other administration officials gave confused and conflicting accounts about Mubarak’s intentions and the timing of events.

Keith Ellison, widely hailed as America’s first Muslim congressman, could more accurately be described as CAIR and Hamas’ man in Congress. Congressman Ellison has been a regular presence at CAIR fundraisers and at pro-Hamas rallies in the United States. As a former member of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, Ellison has enough anti-semitic and Islamist credentials to satisfy anyone, and had expressed openly anti-semitic beliefs in the past.

Since Ellison got his start with CAIR , his attempt to provide support for Hamas is completely unsurprising. Both Hamas and CAIR are projects of the Muslim Brotherhood, which also helped birth Al Queda. Organizations like CAIR do the same work in America that Hamas does in Israel. The difference is that CAIR does its work on a political level, while Hamas functions on both a political and a military level.

Harvard Professors Hauled in Big Cash Consulting for Gadhafi

You really can’t make this stuff up: a consulting company founded by Harvard professors has received millions of dollars from Moammar Gadhafi for, in effect, rendering the services of propaganda machine to the deranged dictator.

The Boston Globe reports that the professors tried to help improve the dictator’s image:
