Mainline Christian organizations are changing their holy scripture to avoid offending Muslims. Not only does this violate their scripture, but it also defeats the purpose of their mission–to share the Gospel.

If mainline Christian organizations fear Muslims so much that they have to edit what they believe to be the Word of God, how far can they be from submission? Where are the righteous, the outraged, the proud?

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Talks between the Afghan Taliban and the United States in Qatar almost failed as the Taliban leadership reportedly refused to accept the U.S. demand of a ceasefire before swapping prisoners.

Sources in the Afghan Taliban said the Taliban had set up an office in Qatar hoping that it would help in a prisoners’ swap, especially for their five top commanders held at the Guantanamo Bay base since 2002.

The Taliban sources said their talks with the U.S. had been going for the past few years in exchange for an American soldier, Bowe Bergdahl, captured by Taliban militants in Afghanistan’s Paktika province in June 2009, bordering Pakistan’s South Waziristan.

In the late 1990s there was an organization formed in Serbia that was created as a resistance to the government of President Milosevic.  It was called OTPOR and it had many supporters because at the time the people were hungry.  Their goal was to change the government by all and any means.  They were extremely well organized, and they are still connected with all the parties now in power in Serbia.  After doing more research into this organization the ordinary people of Serbia became aware of the fact that the activists in the organization were all trained in Kecskemet, Hungary, in an abandoned Russian barracks.  There they were trained to systematically destroy the government of Serbia.  Further analysis showed that they were funded by Bill Clinton and George Soros.

The organizers of the resistance called President Milosevic a dictator.  He was not a dictator but a man who defended his own people and built a church in Serbia!  At the time President Milosevic had no political prisoners in Serbia.  The leaders of the resistance, OTPOR, were all Communists who had privilege, and President Milosevic had abolished their privileges.

In May, 2000, this organization called OTPOR took part in the terrorist assassination of the Prime Minister of the Provincial Government of Vojvodina in Northern Serbia, Bosko Perosevic.  The name of the man who killed him is Milivoje Gutovic.  During his court appearance he made a statement to the court, which took four hours, and in that statement Gutovic admitted to his association with OTPOR and he also admitted that this organization was behind all the destabilization in Serbia!  The OTPOR activists had “jobs” in the Ukraine, Russia, and Egypt.  They caused destabilization anywhere. The symbol of the organization was the “fist.”

Update: EXCLUSIVE: Earlier today, ThinkProgress reported that ret. Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin — an individual who steadfastly believes that Islam is “a totalitarian way of life” and deserves no Constitutional protection — will be the invited guest speaker at West Point’s National Prayer Breakfast.

On Feb. 8, 2012, the United States Military Academy at West Point is planning to host a National Prayer Breakfast featuring ret. Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin, an individual who has a long record of issuing hate-filled rhetoric about Muslims.

Here’s what Boykin has said about Muslims in the past: there should be “no mosques in America“; Muslims worship an “idol“; “Islam is a totalitarian way of life, it’s not just a religion”; “it should not be protected under the First Amendment”; Muslims operate “under an obligation to destroy our Constitution.”

In the early days of the Iraq war, Boykin served in the Defense Department as a senior intelligence officer. Around that time, he appeared in full military dress at various churches, spouting bigoted rhetoric that casted the military conflicts as part of a religious crusade between Christians and the devil. In a 2004 report, the Pentagon Inspector General admonished Boykin for violating numerous internal regulations. “We recommend that the Acting Secretary of the Army take appropriate corrective action with respect to Lt. Gen. Boykin,” the report said.

According to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), there is a grave threat to America that must be suppressed at all costs.  The threat is that Lieutenant General William “Jerry” Boykin might be allowed to exercise his constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech.

This proposition is bizarre on multiple levels.  For one, General Boykin, who is a friend and greatly admired colleague of mine, is one of the United States’ most accomplished and decorated military heroes.  He served in and led our most elite special forces units for decades, including in many of our most dangerous recent combat operations.  He also held a number of senior positions in the intelligence community, including as the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

For another, Jerry Boykin is also an ordained minister.  And the sorts of events CAIR has lately insisted he must not address include prayer sessions convened by the mayor of Ocean City, Maryland and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

What makes the suppression of General Boykin’s right to express himself – and, for that matter, to enjoy freedom of religion – all the more outrageous is the nature of the organization demanding that he be silenced.  Four federal judges have affirmed that CAIR is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood and was spawned by one of its American affiliates – the Islamic Association for Palestine.  Indeed, we know from wiretapped conversations at the time of its founding that CAIR was established by Muslim Brotherhood operatives as a political arm and fundraising mechanism for Hamas, a designated terrorist organization and the Brotherhood’s franchise in “Palestine.”Unfortunately, CAIR and its fellow Muslim Brotherhood fronts are not simply trying to muzzle Jerry Boykin.  They have gone after a number of other truth-tellers about the doctrine the Brothers seek to insinuate into this country – the totalitarian, supremacist politico-military-legal program the Islamists call shariah.

Perhaps this may be overstating the problem.  It makes perfect sense for SEALs to have such a platform to conduct covert operations, including assassinations of key targets,  and the sabotage of Iranian missile sites, and other key elements of its infrastructure.

A hurried decision not to de-commission the USS Ponce helicopter marine carrier after duty in Libya – but to refit it for deployment by May in the Persian Gulf as a floating base for commando teams – was confirmed by the US Pentagon and Navy Sunday, Dec. 29.

This transportable floating base will expand the commandos’ range in coastal areas and support counter-measure against mines which Iran has threatened to plant in the Strait of Hormuz in reprisal for the US-EU oil embargo. The SEALs will also take on Iran’s menacing fleet of military speedboats.

Debkafile reports Tehran operates four different kinds of these craft in the Persian Gulf:
1. Small, fast vessels, each armed with a small missile for striking tankers and coastal oil targets around the Gulf region, such as export terminals. Earlier this month, Tehran claimed to have developed stealth cruise missiles capable of disabling aircraft carriers with a single shot.
2. Small, extra-fast boats armed with torpedoes. Iranian publications claim several such boats are capable of stealing up on US aircraft carriers and large warships from several directions without being detected and cause serious damage.
3. Floating bombs for kamikaze missions. These fast boats cannot be deflected after locking in on target, whether on sea or shore, and explode on contact.
Iran used these floating missiles piloted by suicide squads to attack oil tankers in the Gulf in November 1987. Since then, their naval tacticians have upgraded this fleet with the technology gained from the British Bladerunner 51, a model of which Iran purchased some years ago.
Since early January, the Pentagon has reported four cases of harassment by Iranian military boats sailing close to American warships in the Persian Gulf.
4. Boats carrying teams of Iranian marine frogmen trained for secret suicide underwater missions: One member of the boat’s three-man crew dives close to the targeted ship and attaches a magnetic bomb to its hull. (more below)

Only those with in an Obama led administration that has no coherent foreign policy would believe that any agreements made with the Taliban would result in any different outcome than in our departure from Iraq. 

Thanks again for losing another war Obama. Significant gains toward a democracy in the area were made by  sacrificing gains on behalf of the Afgan people, blood spilled, limbs lost and those who gave their lives of  US and coalition troops who follow a washed up politician rather than a Commander-in-Chief.

Once again Obama pandered for votes putting his election ahead of a foreign policy that would have led to a different outcome.

The Taliban’s leadership council has decided against holding peace talks with Hamid Karzai’s regime under any circumstances, unnamed Taliban sources said Jan. 30, Afghan Islamic Press reported.

The Taliban will only hold prisoner exchange talks and will not accept a ceasefire or the current Afghan constitution, the sources said.

 Taliban leadership remains united on the issue, but the Taliban would split into two groups if its leaders held peace talks with the Karzai regime, a Taliban military commander said. Current peace talks with the United States have failed to establish a Taliban office or allow Taliban representatives who have travelled to Qatar to move about freely, a source said.

Perhaps the most significant of these was “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” by the Muslim Brotherhood operative Mohamed Akram.

BALTIMORE—Antonio Martinez, aka Muhammad Hussain, 22, of Baltimore, a U.S. citizen, pleaded guilty today to attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction against federal property in connection with a scheme to attack an armed forces recruiting station in Catonsville, Md. Martinez was arrested on Dec. 8, 2010, after he attempted to detonate what he believed to be explosives at the armed forces recruiting station.

The guilty plea was announced by U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein and Special Agent in Charge Richard A. McFeely of the FBI.

“We are catching dangerous suspects before they strike, and we are investigating them in a way that maximizes the liberty and security of law-abiding citizens,” said U.S. Attorney Rosenstein. “That is what the American people expect of the Justice Department, and that is what we aim to deliver

In a promising turn of events protesters in Egypt and Tunisia are turning their focus on the Muslim Brotherhood, Salafists and Islamists in general.  A New York Times article, ‘Some in Egypt Turn Their Anger on Islamists‘ and a CBS News Article ‘Thousands in Tunisia protest Islamist extremism‘ indicate a possible change in public opinion against Islamists.

 

TUNIS, Tunisia — More than 8,000 Tunisians marched Saturday through the capital denouncing violence committed by ultra conservative Islamist groups in recent months.

While leftist media and politicians continues to insist that the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamists are not to be feared, it would appear that the people who have to live with them don’t agree and may finally be working up the courage to say so publicly.

As in each and every year since 2001, hate crimes against Muslims not only are not soaring, they are consistently low, despite the incessant whining of terror-linked groups like CAIR.

 

FBI If any religious group can claim it is under threat, it would be Jews. 65.4% of all reported hate crime incidents in 2010 were against Jews. And that number is more than the total number of hate crimes against all other identified religious groups combined. By contrast, just 13.2% of hate crime incidents were identified as anti-Islamic.

Indeed, given the constant drum-beat of terror plots and incitement perpetrated by Muslims against Americans, it is astonishing just how little anti-Muslim backlash there actually is.

Hate crimes motivated by religious bias accounted for 1,409 offenses reported by law enforcement.  A breakdown of the bias motivation of religious-bias offenses showed:

• 65.4 percent were anti-Jewish.
• 13.2 percent were anti-Islamic.
• 9.5 percent were anti-other religion, i.e., those not specified.
• 4.3 percent were anti-Catholic.
• 3.8 percent were anti-multiple religions, group.
• 3.3 percent were anti-Protestant.
• 0.5 percent were anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc.

What’s more, the data demonstrates that America is actually  a ‘mecca’ of integration, considering America’s huge population and vast territory. ( More below)

Will somebody give a clue to the lefty anti-war writers, Raheem Salman and Patrick J. McDonnell,  of the Los Angeles Times that as the saying goes, “Shit Happens.”  Constantly looking to demean our military with the likes of the finally deceased fat jack Murtha who had the soldiers convicted before the trial.

What about have some coverage of the humanitarian accomplishments of our military taking care of the ill, providing food and shelter. What about the troops sitting in Leavenworth M.D.B for committing crimes while given direct orders to do so by their superior officers.  Where were you on those stories?
