The EDL is a racist patriotic group dedicated to attacking Asian people and Muslims. (No, ONLY Muslims) Islamophobia – bigotry (justifiable opposition) against Muslims — is as unacceptable as any other form of racism. Its aim is to divide us by making scapegoats of one community, just as the Nazis did with the Jews in the 1930s. (Jews in the 1930′s were not attacking Europe) Today the EDL threaten Muslims. Tomorrow it could be Jewish people, Hindus, Sikhs, black people, lesbians and gay men, travelers or East Europeans. (Utter crap) There is no place for Nazis, racists or the EDL in Dewsbury’s multiracial, multicultural and multi-faith community. The course was halted after a military officer who was a student complained. The instructor, an Army officer, was relieved of his teaching duties. A broader review of training across the military related to Islam found no other problems.

I would just like to add one more thing. A lot of non-Muslims have also realized that Jasser and “moderates” are not the answer. But a number of non-Muslims are not happy with me and some of my teammates for exposing the “moderate” campaign for what it is. I think it is safe to say that at least some of them are mad because they are being taken out of their false comfort zone, and they do not want to face the harsh reality of the situation. An Afghan police officer accused of killing two Marines and wounding four others during an attack last year in Helmand province told investigators he was motivated by “God’s will,” according to a report outlining the incident.
Second Lt. Mohammad Daoud was a member of the Afghan National Civil Order Police when he opened fire May 12, 2011, on Marines assigned to an ANCOP training team, the report says. Lt. Col. Benjamin Palmer, 43, died after being shot in the chest from about 8 feet away as he ate dinner. Sgt. Kevin Balduf, 27, was killed moments later.
Daoud survived the firefight and was taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
The report, dated June 1, 2011, was obtained by Marine Corps Times through the Freedom of Information Act. The report highlights an ongoing threat in which Afghan troops or those wearing Afghan military uniforms turn their weapons on the coalition troops tasked with training them.
The case remains under investigation, according to a June 4 letter accompanying the report, compiled by Marine Corps Forces Central Command.
The incident occurred at a police training compound in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province. The shooter fired on Marines with an AK-47 assault rifle while they were eating dinner, Marine officials determined.
“Completely surprised by the vicious attack, the Marines began returning fire with their M9 service pistols,” the report said. “The enemy shooter immediately withdrew while continuing to engage the Marines, wounding yet another Marine.
“The Marines fired and maneuvered on the enemy shooter, who had moved to a covered position. Eventually, the Marines wounded him enough that he collapsed and stopped returning fire.”

German police have raided properties linked to an ultra-conservative Islamic organisation after the interior minister banned the group.
Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich said the Salafist organisation Millatu Ibrahim, had been calling on Muslims to fight against Germany’s “constitutional order”.
He said the group’s goal was to see Germany ruled by Islamic Sharia law.
The city council in St. Anthony, a small town in Minnesota, voted down a zoning request by local Muslims to turn an existing building into an Islamic center and mosque. This was a courageous move on the part of the council, given that CAIR has threatened a federal lawsuit in response.
It’s encouraging to hear ordinary citizens at this meeting standing up and speaking out about the nature of Islamic doctrine. Their awareness demonstrates that the word is getting out, despite the best efforts of the media and the government to whitewash the Religion of Peace:

St. Anthony City Council Rejects Islamic Center Plan
A lawsuit could follow after St. Anthony City Council voted 4-1 against proposal, citing land use and zoning.
St. Anthony City Council members on Tuesday rejected plans to locate an Islamic center in the basement of the former Medtronic headquarters off Old Hwy. 8. The proposed Abu-Huraira Islamic Center had been on hold for months after some residents objected to the center and city leaders studied whether city zoning would support the facility. About 150 people attended Tuesday’s council meeting, where Muslim proponents asked the council to approve the nearly 15,000-square-foot center, which would be used for worship and assembly by the congregation of about 200.
A prominent Iranian human rights lawyer has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by a Tehran revolutionary court, his daughter said Tuesday.
Maede Soltani, who lives in Germany, said her family was officially notified Monday of last week’s ruling, which came during the appeals process.

“My father was told that his sentence would be reduced (further) if he would apologize and speak out against Ms. Ebadi in an open letter or an interview,” Maede Soltani said. “He declined.”
The rioting started over the night in Tunis and then spread to many other cities in the country (such as Sousse and Jendouba), which saw extremely violent episodes fostered by hundreds of Salafis.
In some situations the police were forced to shoot into the air in the attempt to quell the rioting, such as in the Ettahir municipality, where in this way they managed to prevent a group of policemen from being attacked by hundreds of Salafis armed with clubs and stones.
The extremists’ protest began in the northern outskirts of the capital and especially in Marsa, where the gallery of art is located which – through its exhibition of works held to be immoral by Salafis – sparked their reaction. From Marsa the rioting spread to the southern suburbs to the edges of Carthage, where the presidential palace is located, under military guard the entire night.
Salafis have gone on the rampage in many Tunisian cities, with the destruction of property and the setting on fire of police stations, party and union headquarters and even a lorry transporting alcoholic beverages.
In Sousse this morning, the Salafis used incendiary bombs to attack the main building of the Fine Arts Institute, and it was by pure chance that the staff already at work managed to escape the flames. In Jendouba a number of headquarters of non-religious parties were set aflame, as was the headquarters of a union, the Regional Labour Union. The police station was laid to waste, as were a number of shops selling electronic devices. According to the initial statements from the Interior Ministry reported by Reuters, 86 people have been arrested so far.
While Muslim countries try to get the west to control and monitor what is said about Islam – they introduce the death penalty – even Muhammad’s many wives were thrown into the lot – for protection from any and all criticism and scrutiny.

CAIRO: Regional human rights organizations expressed concern over Kuwait’s recently passed law that mandates the death penalty to anyone who criticizes God or Islam’s prophet Mohammed or his wives. The Kuwaiti National Assembly passed the law last Thursday, April 12, confirming the capital punishment to those insulting or criticizing God, the prophet or any of his wives, specially from the Muslim community in the country. A number of assembly members asked for consultation with the Ministry of Justice and Muslim scholars over the law first, before implementing it.
“This law pulls freedom of opinion and expression a hundred steps back in Kuwait, as it will restrict freedom of expression significantly, and will make all citizens threatened with death, based on their opinions and what they write, as on the other hand the law can be used by authorities to get rid of opponents, as it’s a vague expansion of the use of the words, such as daring or abuse,” said the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI) on Thursday.
