Only those with in an Obama led administration that has no coherent foreign policy would believe that any agreements made with the Taliban would result in any different outcome than in our departure from Iraq. 

Thanks again for losing another war Obama. Significant gains toward a democracy in the area were made by  sacrificing gains on behalf of the Afgan people, blood spilled, limbs lost and those who gave their lives of  US and coalition troops who follow a washed up politician rather than a Commander-in-Chief.

Once again Obama pandered for votes putting his election ahead of a foreign policy that would have led to a different outcome.

The Taliban’s leadership council has decided against holding peace talks with Hamid Karzai’s regime under any circumstances, unnamed Taliban sources said Jan. 30, Afghan Islamic Press reported.

The Taliban will only hold prisoner exchange talks and will not accept a ceasefire or the current Afghan constitution, the sources said.

 Taliban leadership remains united on the issue, but the Taliban would split into two groups if its leaders held peace talks with the Karzai regime, a Taliban military commander said. Current peace talks with the United States have failed to establish a Taliban office or allow Taliban representatives who have travelled to Qatar to move about freely, a source said.

In 2010 the FBI uncovered the their plans to commit stealth (soft) Jihad against America, which they are currently doing a commendable job, the direct result of Liberal Politicians that have no clue on the Evils of Sharia Law. The final plan is to force Sharia Law on America and the rest of the counties of the world.

In July 2007, seven key leaders of an Islamic charity known as the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) went on trial for charges that they had: (a) provided “material support and resources” to a foreign terrorist organization (namely Hamas); (b) engaged in money laundering; and (c) breached the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which prohibits transactions that threaten American national security. Along with the seven named defendants, the U.S. government released a list of approximately 300 “unindicted co-conspirators” and “joint venturers.” During the course of the HLF trial, many incriminating documents were entered into evidence. Perhaps the most significant of these was “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” by the Muslim Brotherhood operative Mohamed Akram.

Written sometime in 1987 but not formally published until May 22, 1991, this 18-page document listed the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded “organizations of our friends” that shared the common goal of dismantling American institutions and turning the U.S. into a Muslim nation. These “friends” were identified by Akram and the Brotherhood as groups that could help convince Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

Akram was well aware that in the U.S., it would be extremely difficult to promote Islam by means of terror attacks. Thus the “grand jihad” that he and his Brotherhood comrades envisioned was not a violent one involving bombings and shootings, but rather a stealth (or “soft”) jihad aiming to impose Islamic law (Sharia) over every region of the earth by incremental, non-confrontational means, such as working to “expand the observant Muslim base”; to “unif[y] and direc[t] Muslims’ efforts”; and to “present Islam as a civilization alternative.” At its heart, Akram’s document details a plan to conquer and Islamize the United States – not as an ultimate objective, but merely as a stepping stone toward the larger goal of one day creating “the global Islamic state.”

In line with this objective, Akram and the Brotherhood resolved to “settle” Islam and the Islamic movement within the United States, so that the Muslim religion could be “enabled within the souls, minds and the lives of the people of the country.” Akram explained that this could be accomplished “through the establishment of firmly-rooted organizations on whose bases civilization, structure and testimony are built.” He urged Muslim leaders to make “a shift from the collision mentality to the absorption mentality,” meaning that they should abandon any tactics involving defiance or confrontation, and seek instead to implant into the larger society a host of seemingly benign Islamic groups with ostensibly unobjectionable motives; once those groups had gained a measure of public acceptance, they would be in a position to more effectively promote societal transformation by the old Communist technique of “boring from within.”

“The heart and the core” of this strategy, said Akram, was contingent upon these groups’ ability to develop “a mastery of the art of ‘coalitions.’” That is, by working synergistically they could complement, augment, and amplify one another’s efforts. Added Akram: “The big challenge that is ahead of us is how to turn these seeds or ‘scattered’ elements into comprehensive, stable, ‘settled’ organizations that are connected with our Movement and which fly in our orbit and take orders from our guidance.” The ultimate objective was not only an enlarged Muslim presence, but also implementation of the Brotherhood objectives of transforming pluralistic societies, particularly America, into Islamic states, and sweeping away Western notions of legal equality, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech.

Akram and the Brotherhood understood that in order to succeed in this endeavor, they needed to appeal to different strata of the American population in different ways; that whereas some people could be influenced by messages delivered from a religious perspective, others would be more responsive to messages delivered by educators, or bankers, or political figures, or journalists, etc. Thus, Akram’s blueprint for the advancement of the Islamic movement stressed the need to form a coalition of groups coming from the worlds of education; religious proselytization; political activism; audio and video production; print media; banking and finance; the physical sciences; the social sciences; professional and business networking; cultural affairs; the publishing and distribution of books; children and teenagers; women’s rights; vocational concerns; and jurisprudence.

By promoting the Islamic movement on such a wide variety of fronts, the Brotherhood and its allies could multiply exponentially their influence. Toward that end, the Akram/Brotherhood “Explanatory Memorandum” named the following 29 groups as the organizations they believed could collaborate effectively to destroy America from within – “if they all march according to one plan”:

By setting up these many front groups, the Muslim Brotherhood was emulatingthe Communist Party tactic of creating interlocking front groups during the Cold War in order to confuse its enemies and make it more difficult to combat.

Muslim Admits He Attempted to Use WMD in Plot to Attack Armed Forces Recruiting Center.

BALTIMORE—Antonio Martinez, aka Muhammad Hussain, 22, of Baltimore, a U.S. citizen, pleaded guilty today to attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction against federal property in connection with a scheme to attack an armed forces recruiting station in Catonsville, Md. Martinez was arrested on Dec. 8, 2010, after he attempted to detonate what he believed to be explosives at the armed forces recruiting station.

The guilty plea was announced by U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein and Special Agent in Charge Richard A. McFeely of the FBI.

In a promising turn of events protesters in Egypt and Tunisia are turning their focus on the Muslim Brotherhood, Salafists and Islamists in general.  A New York Times article, ‘Some in Egypt Turn Their Anger on Islamists‘ and a CBS News Article ‘Thousands in Tunisia protest Islamist extremism‘ indicate a possible change in public opinion against Islamists.

TUNIS, Tunisia — More than 8,000 Tunisians marched Saturday through the capital denouncing violence committed by ultra conservative Islamist groups in recent months.

While leftist media and politicians continues to insist that the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamists are not to be feared, it would appear that the people who have to live with them don’t agree and may finally be working up the courage to say so publicly.

Since the fall of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali’s secular dictatorship in a popular uprising a year ago, small groups of ultraconservative Muslims known as Salafists have risen in Tunisia calling for greater piety, attacking unveiled women and secular intellectuals and occupying universities.

As in each and every year since 2001, hate crimes against Muslims not only are not soaring, they are consistently low, despite the incessant whining of terror-linked groups like CAIR.

FBI If any religious group can claim it is under threat, it would be Jews. 65.4% of all reported hate crime incidents in 2010 were against Jews. And that number is more than the total number of hate crimes against all other identified religious groups combined. By contrast, just 13.2% of hate crime incidents were identified as anti-Islamic.

Indeed, given the constant drum-beat of terror plots and incitement perpetrated by Muslims against Americans, it is astonishing just how little anti-Muslim backlash there actually is.

Hate crimes motivated by religious bias accounted for 1,409 offenses reported by law enforcement.  A breakdown of the bias motivation of religious-bias offenses showed:

• 65.4 percent were anti-Jewish.
• 13.2 percent were anti-Islamic.
• 9.5 percent were anti-other religion, i.e., those not specified.
• 4.3 percent were anti-Catholic.
• 3.8 percent were anti-multiple religions, group.
• 3.3 percent were anti-Protestant.
• 0.5 percent were anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc.

What’s more, the data demonstrates that America is actually  a ‘mecca’ of integration, considering America’s huge population and vast territory. ( More below)

This is a stark contrast to the endemic intolerance levels in the Islamic world, where persecuting and slaughtering its own minorities (especially Christians) is rampant and growing. The only reason there are very few anti-Jewish hate crimes in places like Egypt, Syria and Iraq, is because these Muslim countries have already massacred and thrown out virtually all the indigenous Jews who had been living in those countries since before Islam even existed.

Do we actually have a Free Press in America or are the stories and propaganda just cranked out to support the left wing cause of the day?

Will somebody give a clue to the lefty anti-war writers, Raheem Salman and Patrick J. McDonnell,  of the Los Angeles Times that as the saying goes, “Shit Happens.”  Constantly looking to demean our military with the likes of the finally deceased fat jack Murtha who had the soldiers convicted before the trial.

What about have some coverage of the humanitarian accomplishments of our military taking care of the ill, providing food and shelter. What about the troops sitting in Leavenworth M.D.B for committing crimes while given direct orders to do so by their superior officers.  Where were you on those stories?

“It was evening when we were attacked,” an 18-year-old woman from Wek, whose husband and one of her children were shot and killed, told Doctors Without Borders. “People all around us were being shot and cut with knives. When I heard the shooting, I tried to run away with my husband and my children, but I was shot in the leg and I fell down.”

Doctors Without Borders treated 94 people at the site for stabbing and gunshot wounds. More than half of the 13 victims airlifted out by the group were less than 5 years old.

Accounts of attacks in late December by Lou-Nuer gunmen against Murle tribesman near Pibor were equally grim.

A 24-year-old woman fled her village near Pibor with her 3-year-old daughter, along with two other women with their boys, ages 10 and 11, and hid in the grass. But the attackers heard her child crying and came for them.

“They abducted my child and slit the throats of the two boys in front of us. They told us three women to run — we ran 10 meters and they started shooting. The other two women were killed right away. I was shot in the leg so I fell down. They came over to me and shot me in the head to make sure I was dead and left me there.”

Shot in the cheek and leg, she survived alone in the bush for a week by crawling to a river for water. Later she found out her mother had been killed. Her daughter is still missing.

“My only child has been taken; I feel so alone and it’s very painful,” she said. “Ten people have been killed from my family, four women and six men. Eight people have been killed from my husband’s family.”

Intercommunal violence between the Murle and Lou-Nuer tribes has been going on for centuries, mainly around the issue of cattle rustling, which brings honor to young tribal men when they successfully steal stock and increase their own herds. Some 80,000 cattle were stolen in the recent violence. The loss of cattle, the main store of wealth in these communities, leaves families without a livelihood.

But battles that were once fought with spears are now fought with guns and carry high fatalities. Vast numbers of weapons can be found in South Sudan after decades of civil war that led last July to its independence from Sudan.

The Enough Project, a human rights group, said in a report released Thursday that the Sudanese government had fueled the intercommunal violence during the civil war in order to destabilize the south. The recent violence underscores the weakness of South Sudan’s police and army, and the breakdown of traditional authority structures, just one of many threats facing the fragile new state, according to the group.

“The tip of the iceberg is the resurgence of conflict between the Lou-Nuer and Murle communities of Jonglei state, but below the surface, other potential intercommunal crises exist throughout South Sudan,” the report says. “The causes of this violence go beyond the retaliatory nature of cattle raiding and touch upon broader issues of accountability, reconciliation, political inclusion, state effectiveness, development, and the proliferation of arms among the civilian population.”

A 39-year-old man shot in the arm in the December attacks near Pibor said his family escaped death by hiding underwater in the river, with just their mouths exposed for air.

“My home has been burned to the ground, all of it, everything,” he said. “I don’t know if I can go back home — because so many are missing, many are dead.

Actually, I lied. This isn’t an IQ test – it’s a Rorsach test. You’re welcome to interpret this data any way you want.

Here’s how I interpret it: The family unit, the basis of civilization, is falling apart in the West. The collapse of the family, education, public and private morality, aesthetic taste, literature and the arts, religion, grand narratives in general, the birth rate, marriage rate, etc. is symptomatic of steep cultural decline. The West is heading for the New Dark Ages, and there probably isn’t much anybody can do about it.*

Neoconservatives – cognizant of imperial collapse, panicked because Israel is the most vulnerable outpost of Western empire – are trying to save Israel, which in their view is synonymous with Western civilization, by uniting the West in hatred of Islam. To succeed in this, they have to tell gigantic lies 24/7/365.

Their central big lie: “Islam is a military threat to the West.”

Reality: The Islamic world is militarily feeble. While it is just barely possible that the combined military power of the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims might pose a serious threat to the tiny and dubiously legitimate “nation” of Israel – actually a settler colony stolen from the Muslims – there is no “Islamic military threat” to the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. The Mossad has had to bomb the World Trade Center twice, and launch false-flag attacks all over the globe, to create the appearance of such a threat.

Islam is being targeted not because it is a problem, but because it offers a solution. 

There is only one major bloc of seriously religious people left on earth: Practicing Muslims. These are people who stop whatever they are doing (including sleep) at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, dusk, and nightfall to practice salaat – a quasi-yogic ritual enactment of absolute submission to God. These are people who abstain from all food and drink, including water, throughout the daylight hours for a full month every year. These are people who do not touch alcohol – or any other drugs except maybe coffee or tea. These are people who abstain from sex outside of marriage.

Like Christians 500 years ago, practicing Muslims are as interested in the next life as in this one. (Unlike some extremist medieval Christians, they do not go so far as to denigrate this life or claim that it means nothing while the next life means everything; in this, as in all things, Islam offers balance.)

Among practicing Muslims, rates of crime, suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction, venereal disease, abortion, divorce, etc. are off-the-charts low. (Google “Islam most civilized Javed Jamil” for the data.)

The single strongest indicator of non-recidivism for prisoners is conversion to Islam.

The number of seriously practicing Muslims on earth is in the many hundreds of millions. Due to their relative success in forming and maintaining strong families, they are demographically outpacing less-religious folk, especially Westerners.

And Islam is a straightforward, sensible religion that “works.” Anybody who practices it sincerely gets the benefits – as reflected by the statistics showing that practicing Muslims are doing off-the-charts well in all important social indicators. (These, of course, are just material indicators of spiritual well-being, i.e. inner peace.)

That’s why Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, and in the world.

And THAT is the real “Islamic threat.”

GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories — Senior Hamas official Mahmud Zahar said on Monday that the Palestinian Islamist movement will never give up its armed struggled against Israel.The statement comes as Gaza Strip officials openly attacked the movement’s leader-in-exile Khaled Meshaal, who has decided not to run again this summer for the leadership of Hamas, for prioritising “peaceful resistance.”

“We are fighting for our dignity and rights. Jihad is our path, our life, our pride and we will not renounce it no matter the sacrifices,” said Zahar, quoted on the website of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing.

Hamas will “never give up its armed struggle against the Zionist enemy,” he said during a speech in Zeitun, a neighbourhood in east Gaza, in honour of the “martyrs” of Israel’s December 2008-January 2009 Cast Lead operation against the enclave….

Wahhabi-backed U.S. halal certifier pays top officers 6-figure salaries, gets $5 million in business income, claims public charity status

If a food manufacturer wants to call its products halal, and obtain a label that attests to its halal compliance, that manufacturer must submit an application for review by a halal certification organization.

In the U.S., halal certifiers are not government entities and, unlike organic food certifiers, are not accredited by the government.  The halal boards are privately run.

One of the largest halal groups is the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA), a Chicago-based multi-million dollar enterprise.  But as Family Security Matters has noted, “There are very few transparent news reports of the expansion” of the halal industry in North America.  The time has come for fuller scrutiny.

First, IFANCA proclaims on its own website that it is recognized and endorsed by the Saudi-based, Wahhabi hegemon Muslim World League.  The MWL has funded Al Qaeda, Hamas, and other terrorist organizations throughout the world in an effort over several decades to export and ingrain Wahhabism across the planet.  But this doesn’t seem to bother IFANCA.

Second, IFANCA claimed tax-exempt status in its 2010 tax return even though the vast majority of its reported revenues comes from “inspection fees.”  These are fees that IFANCA charges to food producers for the “privilege” of sporting IFANCA’s halal food logo.  Such fees sound a lot more like ordinary business income that should be taxable rather than charitable or “public” contributions which would qualify the entity for tax-exempt status.  IFANCA’s Form 990 showed $5,519,829 in inspection fee revenue.  Its only other reported revenues were $14,466 in gifts.

To qualify for tax-exempt status, a charity needs to get over one-third of its income from donations or grants and no more than one-third of its income from business activity.  With 100 percent of its income from apparent business activity, IFANCA falls far short of federal standards for a nonprofit charity.  (IFANCA’s six-figure salaries to its president and vice-president documented in its tax returns may also raise a few eyebrows.)

IFANCA casts itself as an educational entity of sorts, promoting “knowledge” and “community development” with respect to halal foods.  But it does not base its claim for public charity status on its educational or religious mission, but rather by describing the inspection fees as public contributions.

IFANCA’s tax approach makes it relatively unique among food certification groups such as organic, vegan, and kosher certifying entities.  Several U.S. organic food certifiers are tax exempt on the bases of Section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code because they have an agricultural mission—not on the basis of any professed public charity mission under 501(c)3.

The Vegan Awareness Foundation, which is a major certifying entity for vegan foods, maintains tax-exempt status on the basis that it receives a substantial portion of its revenues from donations or grants—not from site inspections.

Many kosher certifying entities are set up as regular businesses and pay taxes.

The IFANCA case illustrates a flawed federal system that accepts 99 percent of all claims for tax-exempt status.  The IRS can start making amends by revoking IFACNA’s tax-exempt status.

Moreover, due to its tax-dodging behavior and World Muslim League affiliation, consumers should avoid buying any IFACNA-certified foods, and grocers should refrain from stocking their shelves with such products.

The comments by the Colonel may be correct, not just regarding Iraq but Afghanistan as well.  Were the lives lost, blood and limbs lost their worth the cost.  Not to many of the surviving loved ones.  Many stories have discussed wounded warriors going back to be with their units. The were not required to do so, they felt they were making a big difference in the lives of those they were protecting.

Now with the rapid preannounced departure of our troops by an inept guy who calls himself the “Commander-in -Chief so that he can pander to the whims of the anti-war movement in his morally bankrupt party, should this be a surprize?
