Cordoba Mosque in Spain Now that Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is under scrutiny, the original Cordoba Project website has been taken down, that showed him for what he is and has been substituted with an identical one page cover that says under construction.
Several commenters have questioned the veracity of this story. Following is the proof that the photo was originally on the Cordoba Initiative website, and its Shariah Index project page.
