Thanks Obama! The Year We Lost Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Most of the Middle East

Daniel Greenfield

Front Page Magazine
About the only people having a Happy New Year in the Muslim world aren’t the Christians who are huddling and waiting out the storm, but the Islamists who use a different calendar, but are having the best time of their lives since the last Caliphate.

The news that the Obama Administration has brought in genocidal Muslim Brotherhood honcho Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to discuss terms of surrender for the transfer of Afghanistan to the Taliban caps a year in which the Brotherhood and the Salafists are looking to carve up Egypt, the Islamists won Tunisia’s elections, Turkey’s Islamist AKP Party purged the last bastions of the secular opposition and Libya’s future as an Islamist state was secured by American, British and French jets and special forces.

Time Magazine declared that 2011 was the Year of the Protester, they might have more honestly called it the Year of the Islamist. In 2010 the Taliban were still hiding in caves. In 2012 they are set to be in power from Tunisia to Afghanistan and from Egypt to Yemen. They won’t go by that name of course. Most of them will have elaborate names with the words “Justice” or “Community” in them, but they will for the most part be minor variations on the Muslim Brotherhood theme.

From Tunisia To The Justice Department: A Clean Sweep For Islam

Big Peace

H/T Doc Katz

Posted by Clare M. Lopez

Across a vast expanse of the Muslim world, from Tunisia to Pakistan, the forces of Islam are rising. Tunisian voters have given the Al Nahda (Muslim Brotherhood) party a dominant position in the national assembly that will write the country’s new constitution. In Libya, Chairman of the National Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, has declared he seeks to make Islamic law the basis for legislation.

In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood campaigns under the slogan, “Islam is the Solution” as Coptic Christians face the worst persecution in decades. Israel just released hundreds of Palestinian terrorists with blood on their hands to ransom Gilad Shalit, an IDF hostage long held by HAMAS in Gaza.

In Syria, Bashar al-Assad’s Alawite dictatorship faces a motley opposition grimly determined to bring it down. With United States (U.S.) backing, the Turks have arranged that most members of the just announced Syrian National Council are Muslim Brothers or like-minded shariah-promoters.

$10 million bounty on al Qaeda in Iraq leader

CNN

By the CNN Wire Staff
Washington (CNN) — As thousands of American service members prepare to depart Iraq as part of an agreement to leave by the end of this year, the U.S. State Department has issued a $10 million bounty for a man there it recently designated an international terrorist leader.
Ibrahim
Ibrahim “Awwad Ibrahim” Ali al-Badri, also known by “Abu Du’a,” is the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, the U.S. State Deparment says.
Ibrahim “Awwad Ibrahim” Ali al-Badri, also known by the alias “Abu Du’a,” was put on the agency’s global terrorist list earlier this week and is the senior leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, the State Department said.

Legitimizing Cold Blooded Murderers; The New Rave!

Big Peace

There is barely a day that passes without the drone-like reminder that the world we now live in is riddled with the carnage left by the blood lusting and demonically influenced hordes in our midst. One would think that after 10 years of studying and fighting this enemy, we might actually have  a firm understanding of him and have determined how best to defeat him.

The Taliban:  not so bad?

We certainly should have been able to determine what doesn’t work.

Instead, we unilaterally placed a “governor” on our force projection which presumed to increase trust and goodwill amongst the Afghan population by reducing civilian casualties. In so doing, we necessarily extended the need for US forces there into perpetuity. And we did this based on a faulty presumption; that the average Afghan did not agree – to greater degree, with the Taliban. It also almost by necessity assumes then that the average Afghan does not see us as anything other than good people coming to the rescue.

Iraq -Iran and the next move

Editorial Comment by Jim Campbell

Will US troops leave Iraq as scheduled?

The current administration  led by Barack Hussein Obama appears to have adopted an incoherent foreign policy.  His dithering and neglect with Mubarak in Egypt, an ally against theocracy has purchased significant state of the art weapons from the US made no sense.

With a response only when pushed by Sarkozy in France to enter the fight in Libya.  With a promise of “No boots of the ground,”  two-thousand members are there already. He immediately abandons those boots placing them under NATO command.

Perhaps the biggest failure of the Obama Presidency, a difficult choice indeed as there have been so many is his abject bungling in dealing with the theocracy of the mullah driven fascist state, Iran. Obama’s incompetence  lead to the recent announcement by Iran that is has finally developed enriched uranium to make weapons. (a dubious source)

Closely behind this  is Obama’s failure to support Iranian protesters in the streets millions strong rallying for their freedom.  The demonstrations happened twice Obama just sat on his hands. No verbal acknowledgement of support.

Obama’s failure to support the State of Israel makes this individual unfit to be Commander-in-Chief.  It sends a chilling message to the entire world, Obama is a paper tiger, and worse the world can no longer look to the US for support or guidance because the office of the president is vacant.

Tacked on the door of the Oval office reads a sign, “Gone on vacation.”

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

Stratfor Global Geopolitical Intelligence Reports

The United States told the Iraqi government last week that if it wants U.S. troops to remain in Iraq beyond the deadline of Dec. 31, 2011, as stipulated by the current Status of Forces Agreement between Washington and Baghdad, it would have to inform the United States quickly. Unless a new agreement is reached soon, the United States will be unable to remain. The implication in the U.S. position is that a complex planning process must be initiated to leave troops there and delays will not allow that process to take place.

Iraq’s Christians Terrorized By New Wave Of Bombings

Women Against Shariah

The Canada Free Press:

BAGHDAD — Suspected Sunni militants took aim again at Baghdad’s dwindling Christian community, setting off a dozen roadside bombs Wednesday and sending terrified families into hiding behind a church where walls are still stained from blood from an attack nearly two weeks ago.

Five people were killed and 20 were wounded in the bombings and mortar attacks that targeted Christians across the city, police and hospital officials said. Iraqi Christians are already reeling after the earlier attack on a Sunday Mass service left 68 people dead, and many are now wondering whether it’s time to leave their homeland.

At a house on the grounds of Our Lady of Salvation Church, Karim Patros Thomas was under no illusion that the community is under siege.

Israel at the Rubicon

North East Intelligence Network

by Sean Osborne, Associate Director

Once again, President Barack Hussein Obama has failed to lead.  While his narcissism lead him to think he could negotiate with people who’s sworn goal is to blow Israel off the map and bring down the United States of America. Aren’t we happy that we have such lack of leadership in the White House.

On 15 August 2010: After years of endless debate, delayed decisions, additional deliberations, bald-faced lies and disinformation, followed by economic sanctions packages piled upon other ineffective economic sanctions packages, coupled with incessant Iranian and Western bellicose rhetoric which would have been considered casus belli in years gone by, the announcement made on Friday by Sergei Novikov, the spokesman for the Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom), that the fueling of the Iranian Bushehr nuclear plant will commence on Saturday, 21 August has left the State of Israel standing on the southern bank of a literal River Rubicon.

In the absense of a decision by Western governments, the United States of America in particular, to back up its own rhetoric with concrete actions, Israel has been left holding the baggage containing approximately 144 hours of time. At the conclusion of those 144 hours it will have become irreversibly too late for military action to halt Iran and its current apocalyptic regime’s nuclear weapons program. This is the conventional wisdom being related by many subject matter experts in the past 36 hours, experts such as former Ambassador John Bolton. Bolton’s comments to FoxNews last Friday speak of just such a window of time remaining.

The Islamic Enemy We Won’t Identify

After Pearl Harbor was attacked, the United States declared war on Japan within hours. The enemy was demonized and vilified; it served to channel this nation’s collective anger in the most productive direction. Ultimately, it paid off in victory. Another enemy similarly attacked us on September 11th, 2001 but instead of a Declaration of War against an enemy, Americans themselves were issued a Declaration or Warn – Islam is peaceful and should not be examined – while being told to direct their anger at a tactic used by the real enemy.

The true enemy of America that hit us on 9/11 was the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliated groups, which include Hamas and al Qaeda, according to Islam expert Robert Spencer. Islamic expert Steve Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism even quotes chief counter-terrorism advisor under both Clinton and Bush – Richard Clarke in 2003, while talking about Hamas and al Qaeda:

The common link here is the extremist Muslim Brotherhood – all of these organizations are descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers.”

Other groups under that umbrella include the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim Students Association (MSA), and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). The details of the Holy Land Foundation trial (HLF), along with facts compiled by Dave Gaubatz, author of Muslim Mafia, further reinforce these claims. Hindsight notwithstanding, it is an incredible stretch to believe the CIA, the FBI, and the White House were all ignorant of these realities; Richard Clarke clearly wasn’t. The most credible reason is that they bowed to a politically correct culture Americans have been choking on for too long.
